About Soura Chatterjee
Soura Chatterjee chooses to use his medium of art to speak for the common people and their recurring problems of social and political life. His works are seen as an observation and a response to the increasingly repressive politics of the world he witnesses, which he believes gags free speech and unleashes tyranny and terror on people. Always keen on exploring societal dynamics through the incidents that occur around him, he questions the apathy surrounding the climate of politics. He invites us, with his works, to look within and explore what it takes to reform society, to take an active interest in politics, and question the idea of a system made by us and for us.
