With delicate strokes of watercolor, pencil, and ink pen, Harshada initially wove a tapestry of Konkan's hues, faithfully capturing its seasons, colors, and shapes. But her spirit longed for more, craving to push the boundaries of expression. Embracing the acrylic medium, she embarked on an audacious exploration, experimenting fearlessly with transparency and opaqueness. With a mélange of unconventional tools, like knives, rollers, tissue paper, and sponges, she coaxed texture and depth from the canvas until her vision bloomed in resplendent harmony.
Harshada delved into uncharted territories, experimenting with hardboard, plastic, and cut-and-pasted file paper. Like whispers of a forgotten language, her shapes began to flow into abstract realms, inviting the viewer to unravel their own interpretations and partake in the symphony of emotions that lie within. What lies ahead in this artistic odyssey is to breathe life into the very essence of the Konkan through sound installations and land art.
