About Dinkar Jadhav
For Pune-based Artist Dinkar Jadhav, abstraction is creativity and this reflects in his oeuvre. His attempt has always been to capture moods, tones, and fluidity of nature into melodies of paintings. His works feature the speed and stillness of animals, be it horses or bulls in their most energetic, powerful, and passionate existence. Abstract and yet real, he has the ability to comfortably blend the two and present them with absolute ease. As a young painter, he was moved by the work of romanticist J.M.W.Turner and was introduced to a world of colour, light, texture, and atmosphere. You see this influence manifesting in the background of his paintings in their geometrical forms. He also adds a dash of romance with his distinct crayon-like texture with acrylic that has come to be his signature style.
