About Balu Sadalge

Every time I think about a temple or a similar landscape, I’m overwhelmed with the picturesque scene that is formed in my mind. My compositions are an attempt to translate this scene onto a canvas. I love using vibrant colours stoked with depth for they represent the vitality of these places.

Balu Sadalge, a native of Belgaum, Karnataka, discovers art as a harmonious fusion of innocence, beauty, and the world's diverse facets. His captivating compositions, resonating with approachability, have found global homes through solo and group exhibitions.

During his final year at the Government Fine Arts College in Dharwad, Karnataka, Balu's creative spirit ignited, leading him on an artistic journey fueled by the amalgamation of natural and manmade beauty. His canvas captures India's myriad landscapes, weaving sequences of dark and light, soft and stark hues, and warm and cool colors into mesmerizing tapestries.

Balu's carefully distributed hues create illusions and accentuate spatial divisions, enriching his compositions. His artistic prowess has garnered recognition through prestigious accolades like the Mysore Dasara Award in Karnataka. Additionally, his art camps foster artistic growth and community engagement, elevating his creative path. Balu Sadalge's art embodies a serendipitous discovery, painting a captivating narrative that celebrates the beauty of existence.
