Asit Kumar Patnaik, born in 1968 and raised in Orissa, weaves a narrative of harmonious balance in his art, drawing inspiration from his observations. A graduate of the Government College of Art and Crafts at Khalikote, Patnaik's mastery unfolds in his nuanced portrayal of the yin and yang of existence. His canvases present a captivating interplay of cool backdrops harmonizing with warm-toned, sensually depicted subjects—men and women engaged in erotic postures.
